To commission a portrait of your pet or other animals, please contact the artist for more information. Commissions are painted with the finest soft pastels on archival quality professional artist paper. Standard sizes and prices are listed in this section, bespoke sizes can be created on request. Shipping and framing are an additional cost and will be calculated based on style and size. 

Meral has also begun taking commissions for small monotype abstract landscape prints in acrylic. If you are interested in commissioning a monotype print, please see examples of the artist's work in the online store.

How to commission artwork...

  • Commissioning a portrait is simple!.........

    Portraits of pets are painted from your chosen photographs. It is important that the quality of the photograph enables the artist to accurately see details such as eye colour, fur colour and detail, for more realistic artwork. Photographs can be sent directly to the artist by email.

    The artist will help you with making a decision regarding composition and sizes.

  • Art Medium

    Portraits are painted with the finest archival quality soft pastels on Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper.

    Pastels are a wonderful medium creating texture and vibrant colours. Each piece is hand signed by the artist and comes with care instructions.

    If you would like your artwork framing, this is possible in the UK for an additional cost. Framing is not available for commissions outside the UK.

  • Other bits and pieces....

    • Commissions make wonderful gifts for loved ones. Please allow plenty of time to enquire, to avoid disappointment.

    • Shipping costs are calculated based on the country of delivery and size of artwork.
    • No animal is too small or large, I have painted guinea pigs to horses and cows!
